Week of 3/23/09

All,

Besides the occasional Hound raid for Luciea (I WILL get the damned Lorrick's gear!) I am going to be running lowbies. I have a RL friend who's giving DDO a whirl and he made a toon last night. He can be a bit shy around new people, so I threw him in my lowbie joke guild called Slow White Guys (don't worry, I'm not trying to compete with or leave Storm Shadow. Just joking around with a guild. It won't exist in a week prolly!)

If possible, maybe this week or this upcoming weekend, we can get som of the Storm Shadow guildies together with him and myself so he can see how great SS is and how fun DDO is. He's an experienced MMORPG player and D&D player, so he'll be fine once he figures out the nuances.

I'd love to hang with the slow white guys guildies. BTW he's got at least one up on me since this is my first MMORPG and first experience with D&D.

He wanted to make something with some soloing capability and some ease of play, so I suggested he make a 2 weapon fighting ranger. He seemed to have fun with it last night (although I couldn't group with him).

When he gets up a couple of levels, I'll prolly switch off of my 2nd lvl dude to my 4th lvl pally named Sedge to give an ac tank to the party!

Gunner is still a baby, and I...have been off all weekend..I know...
I'm being irl medic/chef for mom, who just got out of surgery...

I'd be happy to run with him... I have a L2 Pally and some L4's and 5's.

She had her other breast removed (she had breast cancer a few years ago, and lost the first breast), and had a SERIOUS reconstructive surgery thursday before last....last friday was her first day back and home.

Yea, I'll run up a low dude, or keep gunner parked till your buds about that level, and our new boy peice is about that level as well...

I need to get another docent of courpse craft to have ready for him....
I had borrowed mine for holy, from an out of guild friend (warforged players kinda have several un-written rules)
