Where is everyone?
Where are all the great people from our guild? I have seen so very few of you on lately and heard that one of our oldest guildies may not be coming back. Has real life caught up with everyone? I hope to see everyone again.

I haven't been on as often lately...though I believe I've been clear about the reasons why...
There's a cycle to this sort of thing I've noticed, the population wanes and ebbs like everything else. I wouldn't get all that worked up about it. This is a golden opportunity to get to know some of the newer folks after all. Likely you;ll see a resurgence after mod 9 comes out.

I've been busy. Today was my first day back to work and I start taking classes again next Monday (the 31st). I should still be able to play though
Not as much as usual, but I'll still be around.

Re: Where is everyone?
I found this earlier.
It may be a wow Article, but it is still quite relevant.
THE TEN COMMANDANTS OF DPS
It may be a wow Article, but it is still quite relevant.
THE TEN COMMANDANTS OF DPS
I. Do not die. Even if you can Ankh. Using your death as an aggro wipe is an abomination.
II. Do not cause your raidmates to die. In this way, do not allow
the healers or wearers-of-cloth to become squished by Lesser Nasties
should the Tank ignore them. Your weapon shall be your weapon, but CC
shall be your shield in a time of trouble.
III. Do not overtax your healers by taking undue raid damage. In
this spirit, do not stand in front of the Big Nasty, nor should you
stand in any nastiness the Big Nasty has strewn on the floor.
IV. Focus your Fire by assisting and following the kill order. ALWAYS.
V. Use your trinkets and cooldowns wisely. When in doubt, early and
often. If your raid leader orders you to pop your trinkets and they are
on cooldown, smile for you have done well.
VI. If the strategy calls for you to interrupt spell-casting by the
Big Nasty, do so. The loss of dps is insignificant compared to
violating the First, Second, or Third commandments.
VII. If you have a buff to share with melee, use it. This includes
debuffs to the Big Nasty and anything that mitigates damage on the
Tank. Though he is unintelligent and stands in front of the Big Nasty
and probably smells a little funny, he is your melee brethren.
VIII. Do not show up to raid unprepared. Read the strategies, bring
consumables, and have your items enchanted. Listen to your raid leader
and class leader. Bring an offering of gold for repairs and pay it to Murphy willingly.
IX. Know what items and statistics will improve you and in what
ratios. Do not stand around a dead Big Nasty and debate if his loot is
good for you. This too is a violation of the Eighth commandment.
X. Do not covet your neighbor’s Recount. Do not violate the
above commandments in an attempt to increase your dps at cost to the
raid. This is a violation of the spirit of the law, which is teamwork.

Ebb and Flow
Seems like lately there has been more flow away. There certainly have been a number of long time players that no longer come on. Half of our guild council (Grim and Pan) no longer play. I've also missed long time players such as Luciea, Favrum, Sandy Roads, Sneaky and others. Who could forget Tex, Ezzie, Bedunk, Glassya, and CurlygoChop.
It's too bad as I had some good times with these players. Maybe it's time for me to flow as well. Best wishes.

Re: Where is everyone?
Hey guys I dont know where this rumor came from that I am not returning. I admit and apologize I kind of went on an unannounced leave when Turbine pushed the new release back another month in August. It has been just way too long since there has been new material!. Also I have the house now ive been having friends and family over working on the yard and just enjoying being a new home owner.
Takes alot of my time but things are slowly starting to get back to normal. Yall will see a lot of me again after the launch I have launch week off from work!

I am glad to hear you are coming back pan and sad that sauul is leaving. I don't know the reason for the other people that don't log on anymore, except Tex. I guess glass, ezz, debunk, and grim may have found a new game of choice. I don't know what happened to Pic or the others. I hope to see them all again when the new mod is released. I posted this because the past few weeks it seemed that even more have not come on and was curious to why. Real life gets us all and we have to adjust our priorities. I for one enjoy playing the game with everyone and consider you all my good online friends.
Sauul I hope to see you on again.

I hope Sauul hasnt left already? I dont know what happened to Grim. Frankly I worry abit he was way into Eve and suddenly stopped logging into Eve and DDO. I havent seen him around anywhere in months!
I dont even want to think about all the friends I dont see around here anymore. I blame Turbine for all of this I mean seriously its been almost a year since the last update. Some of the oldies may be gone but there will be a huge push of new blood soon. I hope you're ready to make new friends Franz! They will need guidance from the old guard like you had when you started. See you in Stormreach!

Yes Pan I agree and I am glad to welcome all the new guildies with a friendly smile and a firm hand shake. I have a feeling the new mod will bring some back.

Re: Where is everyone?
In Turbine's defense it is now pretty obvious from the court filing that the delay in content was not their fault. I only hope they can win or settle favorably and provide us high quality, frequent content
