Litlsis needs help
First off, I can't believe there is no rogue love on the forums.
I just rolled a dwarven rogue. I am planning on multiclassing probably 2 lvls. What I am wanting to know is what would be better, 2 lvls of fighter or 2 lvls of barbarian? I know with fighter I would get 2 extra feats. I'm not sure which would be more beneficial. I took 2 weapon fighting as my first feat. I am planning on dual wielding dwarven axes. Here are the starting stats.
Str 14
Dex 16
Con 14
Int 16
Wis 10
Cha 6
Thanks

Personally I think Rogue is the one of the classes that can always benefit from extra feats. More combat related feats or extra skill focuses are nice for a Rogue.
I took a couple of levels of fighter on Jeram for the feats and it worked out well.

Personaly....
Why would you ever take levels of barbarian? Rage? Rage locks you out of UMD casting spells, locks you out of self wands, locks you out of utility.
Fighter, is supreme when it comes to splashing for a rogue. 2 feats is massive for the feat starved rogue.
When you look down the line for sake of prestige classing....
Assisan - Your assisanate DC's will be 2 points lower, and well, you can see how that might hurt, but your DPS, will be a smidgen stronger.
theif-Acrobat - Immunity to Knockdown. Boosts for Higher AC. incresed speed....good general abilty
Mechanic - better UMD and trap skills.....
Long run, at 20, your better off as a theif...since you likely will be weilding vorples anyways.
The third Teir Assisan abilty of vorpal strike sneak, is best for getting a vew vorps with non slashing weaponry, so you likely will be useing vorples then, so why double up?
Though with a 16 int, personaly, I think a little too high, 14 seems perfect to me, your assinate dc is pritty good, (10 +18 levels + 3 Int + 6 Item =36 or Shroud int weapon +2 = 38).

I'm concerned a bit about your cha. I'm guessing haggle and UMD are out the window! But then again, you were behind the eightball with cha when you decided on a dorf. But you get the con boost and various other dorf bennies. I'd reconsider dual wielding dwarven axes. I'd definitely consider using one in my main hand, but off hand, you'll take a hit (no pun intended) to your attack bonus for using a non light weapon off hand.

I am taking 2 weapon fighting. It shouldn't matter what my offhand weapon is, right?

Wrong. The penalty is reduced to -2 in both hands as long as the off hand is a light weapon(dagger, light pick, short sword, light mace, sickle, handaxe, etc) In order to bypass the penalty you need to take the oversized two weapon feat. Which means your better off with fighter lvls than barb.
Why dorf? D axe feat for free? Just curious.

Basically I just wanted a tough fighter rogue. I just wanted to try something different than what I already play. I may not like her and re roll anyways, but I just wanted to try it out
