I'll keep this short and breif.
After quitting ddo to travel and work, and not playing for many months.
I doubt I will be returning.
I love you all, but I feel like my course is complete with ddo.

Funny, weird, and/or interesting songs
Wondering what kind of strange, yet good songs some of you have stumbled upon.

This song I got from my friend. It was one of the songs he was required to remember for my university's jazz music program.

Re: Funny, weird, and/or interesting songs
Me and pan have had several good conversations about our musical tastes.
But since we are talking weird. I'll throw out a few odd ball favorites here.
These so far are my favorite tunes of this summer.
Ghost of Stephen Foster -- Squirrel Nut Zippers
I have alot of fun with this melody and just how mad/crazy it feels.
Run Away - Sunstroke Project & Olia Tiara
As a being of the internet and well versed in memes. So i knew about 'epic sax guy' .... but then I watched the rest of the song. And I was awestruck.
A few other oddities.

Actually liked all of these. The stephen hawking one was probably my favourite of these.Strype McClaine wrote:Me and pan have had several good conversations about our musical tastes.

LOL so awesome, when I saw this one I didnt think the others would compare, but in their own ways they were all good!

This one seems like it could be very addictive.

Everyone's probably seen or heard this one at some time. That doesn't make it bad though!
Also it many not seem crazy or weird, but if you didn't know about pirates of the Caribbean this video would definitely be crazy.

Ah. Captain Jack. There is an artist who died way way way to early.
A little background if you didn't know.
Captain Jack was an American Expatriate, who after army service, decided instead of returning home, to stay in his stationed Germany. He became more or less a promoter of peace/unity and preformed in a military uniform that somewhat in parody. All of his music seemed to be backed by a military cadence, which good for marching, supriseingly good for dancing as well. He was mostly a success in the euro dance scean, but had limited success in america because of the DDR games (and how I got hooked on his music.)
He died in 2005, at age 43, from a cerebral hemorage while taking a walk with his son.
He was a great dude who had a great musical sound.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Not as oddball, but my current favorite two bands are Blind Guardian, and Great Big Sea.
And now something slightly more off center
Yea. That just happened.
Now Great Big Sea was introduced to me by an old freind of mine who is a Newfoundland er. I had asked her for some music. And this is what she gave me.
Makes me pleased with my Celtic heritage, that was a different side of the Celtic story. Were many men went north.

Not sure why, but soon I heard ferryland sealer I thought of this song I learned in high school:
Mixed with this "interesting song", which I actually really enjoy listening to from time to time:
Also another song by gogol:
