A New Idea or Two

Maybe we could pick a specific day and a specific guildie and have help a guildie day/night. They could have a toon that needs to get flagged for a raid or one that want to level, or a specific item they are farming for. Something along those lines.

I'd be interested in hearing your thoughts on this. Also should we start with a newer member or someone that has dropped of the radar (I can can think of at least two)?

I know Strype knows every raid in the game, but it would be nice to help him with some of the planning. Personally I'm not a good planner, but I did marry one. Maybe Z can assist with some of the planning while Strype or anothe leads us through the raid.

Just some quick throughts that may help the guild unite a little more.

We need to keep new recruits connected. Make it so #1 - this joke may never get old

With Strype handling alot of the Raid duties my goal was to run more with the newer recruits. I need to make this happen. I'm currently listing my house and planning a move for the departments I manage in the company I work for. Needless to say my time is somewhat limited right now.

I couldnt help myself

We are officially kicking off help a new guildie on Tuesday the 25th at 7 PM PST. I know not everyone can make this time but for those of you that can either reply to this message or send an in game email to smackim. We will be helping Jjano out and more then likely trying to do a little power leveling for her. She is level 12 right now so we are looking at anywhere from 11-15.

In the future I'm sure we will be doing things earlier for the EST/CST people so I'll be reaching out to some of you for some help on this (Morrek, Hanz, Shag and others).

Also if you are someone that needs help send an in game message to Smackim. Strype I know you need help but due to the length of time in the guild you do not qualify (had to take a potshot at you my friend).

I will try to make it for this Smackim... It's a little late for me on as weekday, but I should be able to help for an hour or so.

I am more then happy to help anyone needing it. I can help when it is earlier, 7 pst is too late for me during the week. We ran Jjenna and Jjimmie this saturday in the vale and got them some good xp, over 25k.

Good to hear how much the guild is working with the new players. I know you weekend warriors do a great deal in getting them leveled. I know they appreciate it very much.

I should be able to log on Tuesday. I have a funeral to go to Monday, but I don't think anything is going on Tuesday.

We'll our first Help a New Guildie Night went off very well. We were able to get Jjano Dragon Raid Ready, her next level, and started her on her way to getting tapestries for her Menos helmet.

Thank you everyone that helped (and Morrek as well for letting another new player take his spot, very self sacrificing).

We'll we held an unofficial help a guildie night Saturday when we assisted Alataar in getting closer to Shroud ready. We ran Sleeping Dust, Rainbow, and Ritual Sacrafice. He now only needs Coal Chamber to be Shroud ready. Alataar is not new to the guild but he runs solo quite a bit and it was nice to get a chance to give him a hand. There will be more coming soon.
