Shroud Exploit?

What was the exploit people were using in the shroud? I know it had something to do with the death pact spell. That is all I have been able to find out. The quest is now down "temporarily" while they fix it.

The Death Pact spell was being used to get the chests at the end of Part 5 without completion. I'm not sure of the exact details, but it could peopel were dying in part 4 with Death Pact, then rezzing in Part 5 and looting the chests. When they did this it would prevent the rest of the party from being able to complete.

Turbine could have removed the spell and left the Shroud open, but i think they wanted to make this a major issue with the player community.
