I'll keep this short and breif.
After quitting ddo to travel and work, and not playing for many months.
I doubt I will be returning.
I love you all, but I feel like my course is complete with ddo.

X-fire, In addition to our forums..
As the preview server has been released, I decided it was time to venture forth, and scout out the new frontier...
I'm a rouge, its kinda my job...
And I saw sitting on my desktop, the lonely icon of X-Fire...
And so, I am, As of right now, starting an X-fire DDO Stormshadow guild.
What is X-Fire?
It is an instant messaging client that is designed to work WITH gameing, and send messages through games, AND offer it's own built in voice chat.
Why have X-fire?
Free, its small, runs well, and works cross games, and would allow the guild to communicate with members playing other games.. (yes, they do exist) and members playing on other servers (like the test server).....Or when doing work....hehe.....
Also still allows guild conversation in voice in the middle of raids/pugs/small groups
Care to see?

If no one other than my self joins, of course, I will delete it and it will all just be a memory.

I thought you were gonna post a tasty thread about running two bad ass ATI boards in cross fire configuration.
I will take a look. Traditionally gamers use other forms to keep in touch like skype, x-fire, because older games have awful voice chat and flooded general type chat windows. I have skype already for Eve. I dont know if ill be able to run another especially since i dont think its neccesary in Ddo. If some of our wandering bretheren start using it I may come around.

Sadly, I wish I was that bad ass to do...
Also use skype, and I like it alot too...but X-fire manages nicely...
My youtube videos, beyond being existential rants, tend to more be on the metagame of competitive Pokemon battling...Yes, I still play that game, and, there is a lot of stratigy on the high end of it...I keep wanting to make a few DDO videos, but, just never got the time, nor a good video recording of the game...
I'm working on exploring the new and improved ddo, and let me tell you, in the wilderness of Lamania (the plane of eternal wilderness, if you read the vale of twilight story, they made a joke about Lamania being the plane of fuzzy bunnies.)
A screenshot//observations will be posted SOON...but let me tell you, you'll hardly recconise the game...Massive UI changes..
