The Eternal Night Festivle

With most of the event festivles, one asks "Is this worth doing for my characters?"
In short, yes, this event most likely is.

In four hours of what I can only call, messing around, laughing, and having FUN, I was able to make AN EPIC ITEM.
Thats right, a ml20, item of greater bad-assery.

What can you make here? Essentially it boils down to 3 items, with a few side prefiery items.
Each item has 5 levels. The basic (ml4) item, and then 4 upggrades (8,12,16,20) and the ml 16 items ARE JUST FINE for the most part, for the majority of us.

1) Docet/Robe
This is an incredible caster\Cleric Item, both are of course identical...
At each teir it incrments its bonuses, leading to a epic item with
Superior negative 9, major null lore, necro dc+2, boon to undeath, Superior false life, clickies of nightsheild....
Wow. Just Wow.

2) Handwraps
At Epic?
G. Undeadbane, Light Dammage, Disruption, Radiance, +6
Yea, at at every other teir? Still really good.

3) Cloak.
An item for everyone else, and on epic. pritty awesome. Its got a bit of everthing on it....

I can boil it down even further guys.
Step 1) Caster, Cleric, or Big Melle
Step 2) Kill undead.
Step 3) Repeat step 2 alot.
Step 4) Join the psudo raid
Step 5) Kill undead. Laugh alot.

Come slay and play with me, we'll get you epic in no time fast...

There are also some eternal wands...If you want them? Eh.
Eternal wands are cool, they kill red named minotaurs reall well I hear.....

Good stuff Strype. I messed around a little bit, but did not participate in the Raid. I have to try it again.

Finally TR'd Xorrek so I've been focusing on that when I can play.

I had thought about doing a full serious write up, and explain the whole mechanics of it all....
But.... There is so little to explain.
You Kill undead. You do the raid.
You kill more undead.
With the raid? You...uh...kill undead..... and have someone to pull some switches....
Really, its hard to explain because its so easy.

With two nights, I've almost got the goods for my second epic item. I'm averaging 1 epic ITEM a night. Its sick, just sick.
Last night, i just made the raid farming group, threw the ocational heal, and turned in colectables, not even trying to get the kills (letting the casters have their fun)....and I still got about 5k motes, in ~4hours, just sitting around, not even playing the game.

Its great fun when you kill them, Its great gear. Its the EASIEST EPIC ITEMS IN THE GAME. A pale master robe/docet. Amazeing handwraps of lesser godlike power. Amazeing Cloak for everyone else....

One of the items, from start to finnish.
~5k motes.
3 Etheral Dragon Scales
2 Vampire Fangs
1 Lich Dust
1 Epic Dungeon Token

you get one scale, per ghost dragon slain, At prime time, 1 dragon per hour, 3 hours.
Vampire Fangs are free (essentaly)
Lich dust kinda hard but not impossible drop. Worst you can buy it with motes (1k)
my Record with mote collection is 3000 w/ turn in in 1hour with a draught of night (buy in store or with motes)... the FvS i was with last night, got 4000 before turn in, in one hour. Motes, Are, Easy.

Also, Halloween strype....
